What is PTOW/PLDW?
Information on the abbreviations found in the EFB Performance calculator.
Updated Latest published version
PTOW/PLDW stand for Performance-Limited Takeoff/Landing Weight.
Simply put, it is the maximum weight at which the aircraft can take off or land in the given conditions.
You must ensure that your actual takeoff or landing weight does not exceed the performance-limited weight.
If it does, pick a different flap setting, bleed configuration, etc.
