I can't arm VNAV for departure!
On the 737 Classic, VNAV is unavailable until 400ft AGL.

On the 737 Classic, VNAV is unavailable until 400ft AGL.
Takeoffs are normally done in TOGA and HDG SEL, with LNAV/VNAV being engaged at 400ft.
