CSS News - June 26, 2026
Welcome to another edition of the CSS Blog where we keep you up to date with our latest developments. Today we’d like to say a few words about the upcoming CSS 737-300SF and 737-400SF, as well as share some exciting previews with you!
As we have announced previously, the 737-300SF and 737-400SF will be available as part of the full 737 Classic Family package, or as add-ons to their respective passenger counterparts. In the former case, all Family package owners will receive the freighters at no additional cost, while in the latter, each freighter variant will cost you an additional $10 if you only own its passenger counterpart.
Since the 737 Classic was never offered directly by Boeing as a freighter, all freighters are 3rd party conversions offered by several different vendors. Commonly, you’d find vastly different airplanes even within one operator due to different initial customer options, year of manufacture, and different conversion time and vendor. Conversions have been offered by companies such as IAI of Israel (designated as 737-300BDSF), and PEMCO and AEI of Florida (designated as 737-300/400SF).
We’ve decided to model the AEI conversion for the 737-400SF and the PEMCO conversion for the 737-300SF to give you a taste of both worlds – the CSS -300SF and -400SF have different cargo door placement, different galleys and slight variations in cockpit equipment, to make exploring both variants a little more interesting for you!
We are also happy to announce a collaboration with our long-time supporters JSWorks and AJP Creations, who will be working together with us to provide a stunning base livery pack which we tailored to represent both current and iconic former freighter operators:
