CSS News - August 22, 2025
Welcome to another edition of the CSS (almost) Weekly Blog where we keep you up to date with our latest developments.
We've been quiet for the past couple of weeks but we do have some good news to share with you today.
1.5 Update
In our previous news post a couple weeks back we mentioned that another update was almost ready. Well, as it turned out, it wasn't, as several significant bugs were discovered by our Testing team, so we had to delay the release. Those included things like incorrect aircraft handing on the ground, engines not spooling in external view and engines not shutting down when the fuel levers were set to CUTOFF. All of that has been fixed, and today, once again, we sent out a Release Candidate to our Testing team. Along with finding bugs, they're checking the new version for MSFS 2024 Sim Update 3 compatibility. As soon as we get the green light from our testers, which hopefully shouldn't take too long, we'll release this update to the public.
Modelling
Our modellers are progressing steadily with the 737-400 exterior model. This week, they've built a new Throttle Quadrant using Photogrammetry, reworked the Horizontal Stabilizer and have started work on all-new Wings. We're not ready to spoil you on them just yet, so stay tuned!
Sounds
Our yet-to-be announced partner has almost finished work on the sound samples for the new sound pack. After this update we anticipate to start working with them to integrate those samples into our code. We can't wait to show you the results!
As always, we're dedicated to improving the CSS 737 with each update. Expect more cool things to come in the future!
