CSS News - July 12, 2025
Hello, Captains! Dim here. Hope you're doing well.
Welcome to another edition of the CSS Weekly Blog where we keep you up to date with our latest developments.
MSFS 2024 Testing
As stated earlier, testing of the CSS 737-500 for MSFS 2024 is well underway. We are recieving feedback from our testers and have already fixed some MSFS 2024 - specific bugs they have found. Thanks to MSFS 2024's better multithreading capabilities, performance is reported to be significantly better than in MSFS 2020. We anticipate it won't take too long before you too can try out our latest product in your latest sim!
All screenshots seen in this post are from the MSFS 2024 version of the CSS 737.
Modelling & Texturing
Our artists are hard at work on the 737-400 external model, which is being made from the ground up, as well as some options for the 737-500 we will reveal later! Stay tuned!
Systems
Systems have seen several minor improvements, which will be featured in the 1.3 update, which will soon be provided to our testing team. We have revised the electrical systems, making sure whenever you lose a generator or other power source you lose the appropriate systems connected to that source. As in real life, the GND PWR AVAILABLE light and the BAT voltmeter and ampmeter function regardless of electrical power to the airplane. The FIRE WARN light on the glareshield now illuminates during fire tests, the Green Banana has been fixed and Top of Descent is no longer displayed until an arrival is entered. We have also fixed a bug where the Speedbrake would not deploy if you touch down with more than idle thrust.
As always, we are continuously working to improve the CSS 737. Stay tuned for more!
